Oh this reminds me so much of that scene in the walking dead where the vet guy was keeping all his former community in the barn. So sad. You want to believe in the cure at this point. I feel for her ❤️

It reminds me of the bit in Shaun of the Dead where there’s a woman being interviewed on daytime TV after life settles into a new normal and she’s on there because her family are hosting an intervention as she won’t “break up” with her husband who turned into a zombie. Great bit of flash fiction. 💚
