OMG a fantasy writer/lover who crochets - I didn’t know there was another one!

Well, I knit, but almost same difference. I’ve been meaning to learn to crochet.

I knit also. I don't know how you knit your figures. I find crocheting them easier.

I am limited in what I can knit with the needles. It’s why I’d like to learn to crochet. Life just gets too busy and I haven’t been able to commit.

That’s so true. I was lucky, my grandmother taught me to crochet when we visited one holiday, and my mum taught me to knit when I was little. I actually prefer knitting, but I’m getting arthritis in my thumb joints and can’t hold the needles for too long (and like you don’t have the time to teach myself to knit another way). I do love your figures though, they’re so cute?

I learned knitting when I was about 7 from a lady who ran a little museum next to the local library where I grew up. I actually have issues too with holding the needles. My fingers will go numb if I don't give myself a break. I've been trying to be mindful of how long I knit so I'm not forced to quit sooner than later.

Thank you. I have a lot of fun making them.

I managed to avoid COVID until December of last year. It didn't cost us much, because once we tested positive we just stayed at home and suffered. I wouldn't recommend it.

I didn’t have fun with my bout. At least for hubby it was more like a cold.

Good for him! For us COVID was like a cold the way getting hit by a semi is like having a toy car run over your foot.

Thanks. And I didn’t even get into some family stuff that’s going on, too. It’s been a rough few months.
