It was a new one to me as well. It showed up in some of the lists of Michigan cryptids when I was researching other monsters.

Never heard of a sea panther, let alone the Mishipeshu. Fascinating! In Texas, I come across one goat man story after another - really seems to be a thing down there. I look forward to your vampy Xmas story.
