Congratulations on the book. I did a double take on the name of this piece though. Kinross is a place in Perthshire Scotland and has been the location of quite a few UFO sightings! I used to live in a nearby area and remember the one in the 1990s.
I am would not say there are no such things as aliens. But it is hard for me to imagine life from other planets traveling that far and not making themselves known (for good or bad.) You can safely bet that if humans had the technology to travel light years that contacting other life forms would be the first thing we do. Are all advanced aliens that sneaky? Or afraid of humans? Surely they have advance weapons also. Are none of them as stupid as humans? π€£
Like many I was fascinated by UFOs and extraterrestrials when young. That the military hush hushes so much of it has led to conspiracies and speculations.
My view is that if ETs have visited us with their superior spacecraft, the reason they do not stay long is that they survey us as violent carbon-based life forms, a relic from a past age.
Or maybe Earth and humans form.a stop for space tourism. The brochure says, "Visit Earth; see ancient civilization."
I wrote a short story about The Nain Rouge. I think it's one of the deepest rooted mythologies in Michigan. But I like hearing about all of them! Especially those Bigfoot sightings. π
I'm losing my mind. I went to order your book and couldn't figure out why it wasn't letting me. Then I realized I've already pre-ordered it! I love the idea of reading snippets. Perfect for busy times.
Pre-ordered and ready to rumble... Aka promote. :)
I have vertigo from Menieres disease - and it can be managed effectively by avoiding high sodium and keeping caffeine intake moderate to minimum. I haven't had a vertigo episode for over a year. But having said that, before I was diagnosed, I found out it can be a symptom ear infections (I have had those), flu/illness, certain chemicals, or brain tumors. It is possible that the pilot had an illness/ear infection/undiagnosed tumor/exposure to chemicals that caused an onset of vertigo while in the air. Given the kind of gs they pull, it would actually make sense for something undiagnosed to suddenly my show up there because the g-force may have caused the symptoms to worsen quickly. Or... Aliens.
The human body is quite complex, so I wouldn't discount something undiagnosed as being a possibility. And if that was something they didn't really know was a thing that could happen...it could be a reasonable explanation. But, let's face it, aliens are more fun to think about. ;)
Thanks. The image is just a stock photo, but I did the font and design. I have a lot of fun playing with cover design. Feel free to email me if you want someone to bounce ideas off of for your cover.
In da UP, eh?
Oh ya, eh.
Congratulations on the upcoming release!
After the recent release of so many UFO encounters by our government, you have to wonder if that wasn't another UFO encounter.
Maybe someone will find something in all those new releases about this.

LOL! That's quite the coincidence.

Best wishes for the book.
I figure they've popped by and seen how we are and noped out. LOL
Thanks.
That is more likely. βThose humans are crazy. Letβs get out of here!β
It'd be the intelligent (life) thing to do.

I have done that, too! I was trying to order Christine Rains' book and it took me a minute to figure out why there was no buy link.

Way more fun to think about
Congrats! I love the cover! Did you create it yourself? Inquiring minds want to know.
