I've heard of Dogman and of course Bigfoot here in Michigan, but nobody yet has a tall tale regarding Wendigo. I should scour some historical newspapers and see what's out there in our big scary woods. 😳

Love this exploration and explanation of the Wendigo! My only familiarity with Wendigos comes from the Grimm show and from Supernatural, so I don't think I really had a good understanding with those pop culture references. Congratulations to Shannon! She is a brilliant author - and I purchased a copy today. :)

I’d never heard of the Wendigo until the (phenomenal) Penny & Sparrow album of the same name. Spooky!
