Coping with a family member's death is hard. Sometimes you just have to take it a day at a time. I'm glad you're enjoying Michigan's cooler temperatures. I live here year-round, and this summer has been really nice and not too hot most of the time.

I was wondering what happened with the Salvation Army job. And I now know that the other job didn't work out, but here's hoping something new and promising comes along for you soon. <3

The death of our loved ones make indelible marks on our futures. Even time won't make those marks disappear, but it will lessen the bruising. Good luck with the new job and Michigan.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Grief ebbs and flows, but it sounds like maybe you're through the worst of it.
