Insecure Writer's Support Group: How About Now? ✒️
I’m happy to say hubby and I are home now.
We spent almost two months down South with my mother-in-law, helping her get things sorted and not be alone. I have to admit, I’m a bit peeved at my father-in-law for stubbornly refusing to admit something was very wrong until there was nothing we could do. My grandpa did that with his cancer too. This seems to be a guy thing. Men, stop it. Go to the doctor. It doesn’t make you weak.
Anyway, it’s nice to be home. Although, I do miss the dogs and I’m sure they miss me. I did sneak them food often. But, I was derailed. It didn’t help that the end of April had my grandma’s memorial that required traveling for. The weekend after that I had a paranormal convention I was a vendor at and that had more traveling. (Not as much, though!) May is looking calm at least. I hope to get back on track for a little while, but in mid-June, we will be going back down south because that’s my father-in-law’s birthday and we want to be there to support my mother-in-law. We’ll be staying through July. After that…who knows.
Needless to say, my 2023 has gone off the rails.
I’ll have to use what spare time I have wisely. Please cross your fingers for me that I get some progress on my writing and crafting.
