With 2025 just around the corner, I’ve been doing something dangerous and thinking about this newsletter. I’ve decided to tweak a few things to make it easier for me to keep bringing you new monsters and mysteries, stories, as well as arts and crafts despite my hours going up at my day jobs.
I’m changing how I use polls so I’m not waiting month to month on what mystery to write about. Instead, I’ll use the popularity of the 3 options to decide what order to write those posts in. It’ll also help since I have to write around my energy levels. I can get the writing in when I have the energy.
I’ve also been thinking of ways to make this newsletter more interactive. Accidentally, I rolled out chat. I plan to use that to ask people to share local legends or paranormal stories they know and we can chat about it. We’ll see how it goes.
News and updates are going to get their own semi-regular posts. They’ll also include links to cool things I’ve found that don’t fit into the paranormal (like robots built hundreds of years ago.)
2024 was a roller coaster of a year for me, but this newsletter and you helped keep me a little sane.
And I still can’t get over everyone who bought some knitting, donated to Ko-Fi, and became a paid subscriber to help me and my husband out during his job loss. (He’s still looking BTW, and unemployment is running out. I’m trying not to panic.) Yes, I cried a little because I’ve never had people be that generous to me before.
To get real personal, sometimes I feel like the universe believes I’m worthless and shouldn’t be here, so having you remind me that’s not true is something I need to hear.
Thanks so much for reading and being you.
Until next time, stay spooked.
May 2025 be a better year for you.
