Christine and I have been long time writing buddies, but since I’m rubbish at remembering when I met someone, I have no idea how long. All I know is I love her writing and I am lucky that I often get sneak peeks in the form of beta reading for her. When I saw the cover for book 2 in her litRPG series, Khthonia,1 I got hit with the drawing bug and had to sketch.

I also promptly regretted that decision as hands are a giant pain as anyone who draws will tell you. Luckily, an artist friend is working on a web comic2 and her main character plays violin so I was able to reference her drawings to help me figure out where to put the lines.

I still remember the first book I read by Christine -- Fearless, with the stuffed animal!
Gah hands! Yes, they are so cool but so hard to get right!
I bet Christine really appreciated it though!
