I’m one of the cohosts, and this month’s question is: If you ever did stop writing, what would you replace it with? Let me know in the comments what your answer is. I’m sure no one would be surprised to hear me say, KNITTING! Dear 2023, Man, you’ve been…something. Between the deaths in my family and the ridiculous amount of travel, I honestly would rather deal with 2020. At least, then we got to stay home.
2023 has been rough for me, too, so I can relate and empathize. I hope you do get that break and can come back strong for these last six months of the year.
I'm so sorry this year has been so emotionally rough for you. I get it. 2020 was really good for me. Staying home with the people I love most was wonderful. Here's hoping you find some peace soon and are able to get back to you.
I'll send good energy for you to have a better second half of 2023.
So, you'd knit more. I'm not surprised, but makes me think that I am always meaning to learn to do handwork, but not getting there. I can crochet, mostly, but seldom practice so can't do anything very interesting.
Some years just turn out so, so shitty. Whatever energy it is in the universe, it seems to concentrate itself into negative batches that just hit you like a truck. It would be too simple if it was always just a little bit of bad juju all the time. We could deal with that.
Hope your uncle is okay. And that the rest of your year is less sucky.
So sorry for all your difficulties. I'm praying for you and your family. Life is tough. But so are you! Thanks for cohosting this month's question. All best to you.
Insecure Writer's Support Group. I would like a break.✒️
Wow. 2023 sounds like a whammy. That's some tough stuff. I hope things improve and it was just frontloading everything.
Thanks for cohosting this month. I understand why 2023 hasn't been good for you. Maybe the rest of the year will be better.

What a year! I hope it slows down. So, THAT is what you'd do if not writing? Nope. I will stick with penning the pages.
Sending tons of good vibes and hopes that the latter half of 2023 is kind to you and yours!

Good vibes coming at ya! I totally get the not trusting 2023, it really has been a fair-weather friend!

You've certainly been through it, Patricia! I hope the second half of the year is much better! Thanks for co-hosting today! (This is Fundy Blue.)
I don't blame you. You need a break!
Thanks for co-hosting. (Glad I found you. The link Alex posted gave me a warning message, so I hunted for you on the Linky list.)
Thanks for co-hosting. I'm sorry for all your losses. I hope you get the rest you need this month and don't have so much traveling.
